Sailing Day is an educational sailing day on Potrerillos Reservoir, Mendoza, designed especially for primary schools, secondary schools, and institutions looking for an outdoor learning experience.
The program combines sailing, recreational activities, onboard safety, and learning in direct contact with nature, fostering values such as teamwork, responsibility, respect, and care for the environment.
Activities
Introductory talk
Basic principles of sailing, the parts of a sailboat, and essential onboard safety rules.
Guided on-water experience
Students will experience sailing accompanied by trained instructors, in a safe and controlled environment.
On-land sailing simulator
A hands-on activity to grasp basic sailing concepts before boarding the sailboat.
Nautical and team-building games
Group activities focused on learning, cooperation, teamwork, and care for the natural environment.
Recreational time
A space to share, rest, and capture the experience with photos.

Our crew holds a Helmsman - Nautical Skipper license and has extensive sailing experience.
Onboard safety
Life jackets for all passengers, communication equipment, echo sounder, satellite GPS, and a first-aid kit. Civil liability insurance.

Departure location
Potrerillos, located 70 kilometers from the City of Mendoza, is a small, picturesque village nestled in the heart of the Andes Mountains.
For those looking to relax, it offers peace and natural beauty. The panoramic views of the Andes and the pure mountain air create a perfect setting to disconnect. It has several lodging options, from cabins and campgrounds to the grand Hotel Potrerillos.
This town is also known for its great cuisine. Local restaurants and grills serve typical Argentine dishes, with grilled meats and Mendoza wines standing out.
How to get there? From the city of Mendoza, by car via National Route 7 and Provincial Route 82. There are also public transportation services and private tours.
Cancellation policy
1. Cancellations by the Client:
Cancellations between 72 and 24 hours before the tour: Clients will receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid.
Alternatively, clients may choose to reschedule their tour at no additional cost.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: No refunds will be issued.
However, clients may reschedule their tour with an additional charge of 20% of the original value, subject to availability.
2. Cancellations due to weather conditions:
The safety of our clients is our priority. If weather conditions are dangerous or unsuitable for sailing, for example, thunderstorms or strong winds, we reserve the right to cancel the tour.
In the event of cancellation for weather reasons, clients may choose between a full refund or rescheduling the tour for a future date at no additional cost.
3. Cancellations by the Company:
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to technical, operational, or safety issues.
In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule their tour for a future date at no additional cost.
4. No-show:
If the client does not show up on the day of the tour without prior notice, no refund will be granted.
5. Refund procedure:
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to our official email or through our website.
Refunds will be processed within 7 to 10 business days from confirmation of the cancellation.
6. Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be notified to clients.
